Waverley Downs

Waverley Downs Merino Stud breeds, Super Fine and Fine wool rams with a strong focus on real profit drivers and easy-care sheep. Our Flock has an average 17.5 micron and our stud ewes that raised at least 1 lamb averaged 5.7kg per head at our 2024 shearing and the hogget ewes averaged 6.1kg per head.

We have consistently achieved over 110% lambs weaned on ewes joined, in 2023 we had 114%

Waverly Downs had success at the 2023 Great Sothern Supreme Merino Show Canberra. Winning Champion Fine Wool March Shorn Merino Ram and Champion Fine Wool March Shorn Poll Merino Ram.

We also attended Tenterfield Show Winning Champion Junior March Shorn Ram, Reserve Champion Fine Medium Ram and Champion Pen of 2 Rams.
